November Calendar Review
What I did, read, bought, podcasted, and wore in November
November was a whirlwind. No School November came to play and I had a lot of weekend travel. While all of my travel was very fun, I missed being home and felt pretty unmoored for much of the month.
Two of my weekends away were in New York, one with some internet turned real-life friends, and then one weekend with my husband’s best friends from growing up. Both weekends were very different but I got to see friends in the city, eat great foods, be inspired by a group of amazing women, and spend quality time with my husband long time friends. Then Thanksgiving and the rush into the holidays.
It was a great month. My cup felt extremely full (arguably too full), and December isn’t slowing down.

What I Read?
This months was a light month due to too much personal travel and too little time at home.
Favorites:
Backslide - I love a second chance romance, and this was such a delightfully told stories of exes who reconnect at a wedding of a friend. If you’re looking for a fun rom-com thats well written, this one is worth it.
What I Bought?
My morning face routine for at least 6 years has been Vintners Daughter Serum and Toner. While I absolutely love this combo, it’s price tag of ~$450 was feeling really steep. So I waited for what I had to run out and then I ordered this Toner, this brightening serum, this hydrating Serum, under this sunscreen as my new morning routine - all Devan Jesmer recs. So far I’ve been really happy with it.
I also bought some Jones Road make up when I was in New York. I got color matched and have been loving this combo of What The Foundation, Neutralizer and Face Pencil, Bronzer, and Cheek. I was so impressed by how flawless Jess Alayne and Andrea Wightwick looked in New York that I had to get some, and I’m obsessed.
I got some real finds at my local Consignment Store, The Round Rack recently. I have a list of items I’m casually looking for in my phone, and happened upon two of them! If you haven’t found a great consignment store near you, keep looking. I promise, it will be worth it.
What I wore?

The red bags got a lot of air time - I love the shape of the Linea and am debating if I need the big one (I do not) - but between the Mini and the Regular, I think I wore the mini an edge more
