March Calendar Review
What I did, read, bought, podcasted, and wore in March
March was a blur but also a delight. We came home from vacation and got back into a routine. Re-entry was tough, but we got through it. There are a lot of glimmers from the past month.
becoming fish parents
a lazy weekends with no plans
celebrating birthday parties, bridal showers, and warmer weather
the conversations my son and his friends have on his Tin Can
playing games with my son at night - Tenzi has become an easy favorite
squeezing my friend and her new baby
chasing down Tiny Art Prints for my friend in different cities
surviving a vicious Barre class with a crew of my favorite moms
playing Mahjong a number of times - even trying to get my husband into it.
playdates with friends and their babies
trying new foods and successfully souffle-ing
dining with girlfriends who had me smiling so hard my cheeks hurt.
hosting a chaos dinner that was so fun and just what I needed before weekend work travel.
attending The Working Moms Summit was incredible and I look forwad to going back next year!

What I Read?
This was another slower month. The Bodyguard Affair and Honestly I’m Totally Faking It are both fake dating and I really liked both of them. Theo of Golden was good but slow for me to get through.
Heart the Lover was a book club book, and I don’t think I would have finished it had it not been for that. I also could not put down Strangers. I listened to the audio, and it was fantastic. The story immediately hooked in me in, and if you haven’t read or listened, you absolutely should.
What I Bought?
I decided I absolutely need new bras, and finally bit the bullet. I bought ~$1k worth of bras from Third Love, none were a hit, but I reordered 3 in a different size. I also tried on some at Soma. I ended up getting this one, and I live it a lot, but the band is stretching a bit. I’m waiting on one more from Third Love.
This Gap Chore Coat has been on repeat on warmer days. SO MANY pockets!
I bought these pants from Old Navy and I really like them. I wanted a cheaper option than the Ruti - the Ruti still reign supreme, but I really like these.
Lucie and Nora raved about these from Vuori and Dev tested these and true to the other CRZYoga stuff, they’re awesome. I wore these traveling this week and was delightfully comfortable.
I LOVE the Roz root spray and tried their Scalp Scrub. So far I like it a lot. I also got the Crown Affair Air Dry Cream based on Lucie’s rec, and it’s so good. I love the Air Dry Mousse, and I will probably use a combo of them. Use Code ELLIER15 for 15% off.
What I wore?

If I wore anything this month, it was the Ruti Pants and these Gap Pants. I wore them to work events and casual hangs with friends, I wore them flying or chasing after my kids. They’re both extremely versatile. I have the Gap pants in Blue and Black and I want another pair of the Ruti pants I wear them so much. This Sezane sweater was on repeat as well. I am also deeply obsessed with the Alex Mill Weekday Tote, and grateful to Lucie for passing hers on.
Who did we chat with?
Reminder- you can always check out the Episode Index if you’re looking for a specific guest! We had two international guests this month! And I was fascinated by how Rachael and her family split their time between Costa Rica and the US? Rachael was kind enough to give our listeners 20% off on Mary & Jane using code DAYINHERLIFE. I LOVE their Sunny product!
