Summer is feeling more chaotic than rejuvenating and I blame camps. I wash bathing suits and towels at an alarming rate, and the additional mental load of the things that need to be in the bag is staggering. I don’t want summer to end (not one bit) but I am really looking forward to a routine again.
Below are 5 things I’ve been complimented on this week, including these sunnies which are my entire personality now. You’re welcome.
These Sunnies are my go-to sunglasses. I have them in three colors and I love the shape for my face. I cannot wear any sunglasses that aren’t polarized, and I love that these are for a great price. The other night at dinner, our server complimented them, and I went into a whole deep dive into my enthusiasm for them, much to the chagrin of my husband.
If you were one of the many families that purchased this suit for your daughter at target, might I suggest this bathing suit. My daughter was so excited that “we matched” in this suit that she changed out of what she was already wearing. I was very surprised by the quality and comfort of this suit, so much so, I bought two others. I love that it has a built in bra and doesn’t give pancake-boob.
One of my friends saw me in one of my many Deep End shirts the other day and immediately asked how to order one for herself. I wear mine all the time, and they are so comfortable but polished looking. The right amount of oversized.
I got this balance board and I’ve been loving it for standing at my desk and taking calls. I hate sitting still and tend to get very distracted, so this is perfect to keep me on my toes (literally) and trying to balance. If you have a standing desk, this is a huge upgrade for just standing - I’ve gotten a few messages from co-workers I have raved about this to loving it.
This hair product is the one reason my hair looks any fraction of decent this summer. It has been unbearably humid around here, and I am so obsessed with throwing this in my hair after a shower, letting it air dry, and then it still looking good the next day. My hair used to look so flat and bland the day after a shower, and this has really helped!
