Five Friday Faves - 7.11
You don't need anything from Prime Day, and here are some things I have and love
You certainly don’t need anything from the Amazon Prime Day sales, but if there’s something you’ve been looking for, you really can get a good deal.
I add things to my Amazon cart when I want them, but unless it’s a necessity, I move them into “Save for Later” until I’m ready or I decide I really need it. We’ve been trying to curb our unnecessary spending this year, and this is one good way.
For Prime Day, I checked my Save for Later and found some good deals on things I’d been eyeing. Below are some of the things I bought this week on Prime Day and a few other things I have and swear by!
Hair Stuff - This smoothing spray has been highly recommended by a few friends, and I just got it today - can’t wait to try. I’ve been using this volumizing tonic for a while now, as a rec from Mary Orton, and it’s AMAZING - this is the lowest price I’ve ever seen. I bought these on Prime Day last year, another Mary Orton rec, and they’re worth it.
Bathroom Things - My old toothbrush was failing, big time, and I’d had this in my cart for awhile - 50% off is a huge discount. Also, the toothbrush heads are super expensive, and also on deep discount, so a good time to stock up. I’ve been a big fan of the Clean Skin Club towels for a while, and this Prime Sale was a good time to reorder since I was running low.
Kitchen Things - Some of the most used kitchen things in this house are on serious sale. The Thermapen gives me a lot of confidence when grilling and cooking meat. I use this countertop oven/airfryer more than any other device in the house I think. A close second to the Breville is this InstantPot/CrockPot combo. Obsessed with it. I’m also terrible at cooking rice because this thing is AMAZING.
Kid Toys - These magnetic water balloons are a huge hit with kids, and we needed some new ones. My kids are obsessed with their Yoto and TonieBox - the Yoto is better for my older son, and my daughter loves the TonieBox right now. Many hours of independent play with these things. These are also clutch for keeping the Yoto Cards together.
Office Things - I have two of these and they’ve saved my behind A LOT. I like to keep one plugged in or available in the kitchen and one travels with me.
has recommended this many times, and I bit the bullet. Absolutely obsessed.ALSO - Pepper Books is LIVE! If you love romance, are interested in reading more romance, or just want to get into reading again, we’ve got a book box for you! Check out ShopPepperBooks.com!
