Five Faves - 5.23
Happy start of summer! We’ve made it. I hope you’re having a good restful Memorial Day and getting ready for the rest of the summer. This year has flown by, but I’m so so so ready for my favorite place and my favorite season.
Off Campus - I really enjoyed these books, and I’m hooked on this series for sure. I have some casting questions, but Dean and Garrett are speaking to me. This show is so fun to watch, and the soundtrack is really incredible. If you haven’t read the books, give them a read!
Sevy Bandana - I just got my Sevy bandana and it’s SO CUTE! I do wish it was printed on both sides, but I am feeling a chic bandana with a white tee, and will certainly be wearing at the beach this summer. It’s SPF and will be great at the beach.
Multi-colored flippies - My husband got these for me for Mother’s Day and I love them so much. I love a quirky shoe, and these are perfect. These are the first I’ve ever gotten from this brand, and I’ve worn them a few times and already gotten a ton of compliments on them,
Sea Otters - This is silly, but I’ve trained my algorithms to feed me a delightful amount of sea otter content. I know the internet can be a deep dark place, but seeing sea otters holding rocks and being adorable, is pretty awesome. 10/10 recommend liking and sharing a lot of content you want to see, even if it’s a silly as sea otters.
Mini Products for Travel - I have 9 trips in 7 weeks, and I’m nearly through the bulk of it. It’s been a brutal phase and I don’t wish this on anyone, but again, so grateful for my support at home - namely my husband. One thing that makes travel much easier is having the right product in the right, travel-ready, size. I recently was gifted this set from The Outset, but I’ve been a huge fan of their Micellar Cleanser for a long time and their Caffeine Scrub is one of my favorites. I also have been using a number of hair products in small size, and this, this, and this have been pulling serious weight week over week.
My LLBean Patch Bag - My girlies and I patched our LL Bean bags while we were on a weekend trip to Hudson. I CANNOT recommend this activity enough. It was so fun and easy, but also be prepared for the patches to ADD UP. I ordered most of my patches from Etsy, and unless you place one big order, there’s a lot of shipping costs but whatever. I loved picking patches based on different things I love - places I’ve lived and visited, my kids and dog, my husband, other patches like a bunch of these. Ironing was really easy, but you definitely need some gorilla glue.
